What To Do in Baton Rouge This Fall

No tricks, only treats this Halloween! We’ve rounded up our favorite spooky and not-so-scary things to do in Sweet Baton Rouge this season!

In a season full of pumpkin-everything, we recommend grabbing a Pumpkin Spice latte and visiting the local pumpkin patch and Corn Maze at LSU’s AgCenter’s Botanic Gardens. They’ll be open each Saturday in October!

Head over to Louisiana’s Old State Capitol for the 3rd Annual Spirits of Louisiana on Thursday, October 25! This Halloween-inspired cocktail event features the “spirit” of our colorful history as well as spirits crafted by local distilleries. Tickets on sale now!

On Friday, October 26, head on over to Perkins Rowe for Spook N Rowe! There will be a children’s costume contest, live music by DJ Bob, Princess meet-and-greets, giveaways and more! It’s sure to be an event the whole family can enjoy.

Baton Rouge is known for its festivals and parades, and 10/31 Consortium’s Annual Halloween Parade is no exception! Join them on Saturday, October 27 for a “Things That Go Bump in the Night” themed parade.

From October 20 – 28, bring the whole family to the Baton Rouge Zoo for Boo at the Zoo! This is a family-friendly, merry-not-so-scary extravaganza! Visit the Enchanted Swamp, Hay Maze and more! Regular zoo admission applies.
