I will be away in Biloxi this year but I would typically go to Superior Grill in MidCity or Casa Maria! A lot of times we do a Cinco de Mayo get-together at my house and I always pick up Margaritas with chips and salsa from Superior Grill!  — Meredith | Owner of SFT, Sweet Baton Rouge & Lagniappe Box!

Superior all the way! In college, we frequented La Caretta in Hammond but the new superior on Highland is this years go to spot! — Kerrie Kikendall | All Things Considered by Keki

My go-to for Cinco de Mayo is Agave Blue in Prairieville. Their patio is perfection, and they also feature live music on occasion. Go check them out and try the cucumber margarita – so delicious!! — Hannah | Cold Coffee, Hot Mess

Probably a very cliche Cinco de Mayo answer, but we always wind up at Superior for live music and margaritas. Both Lava Cantina locations have live music and specials too – including the one in Perkins Rowe! — Erinn Sala | Marketing Manager at Perkins Rowe and Fitness!

We love to go to Superior Midcity! The covered patio is the best and let’s be honest, they have the most incredible margaritas Baton Rouge has to offer!!  Blake GuichetMagnolia Ink!

I plan on trying this year Velvet Cactus, La Carreta, or Lava Cantina! — Kristina Britt | Kristina Britt Photography

Cinco is all about the band,  Margs and good Chips and Salsa! Cinco de Mayo also happens to be my husbands birthday so a good celebration is a must. Caliente on Lee Drive, in my opinion, is the best!

Awesome live music on their outdoor patio, their Top Shelf Marg cannot be beaten… and I could bath in their Salsa and Queso!
This winning trio is why Caliente gets my vote every time!   Ellen | Co-Owner Avant Tous
